Become a Justice LED Regional Trainer

"An amazing training opportunity that will support you as a justice trainer but perhaps even more importantly, will allow you to connect with others who are doing terrific, theologically-based justice work around the country." -- Karen Holcomb-Merrill

What is Justice LED?
Justice Leaders Engaging and Developing (Justice LED) is a training program offered by Justice & Witness Ministries (JWM) designed to equip local church leaders with the skills and tools needed to develop, strengthen and sustain justice advocacy ministries in our UCC congregations. Teams of Certified Trainers will be available to our Conferences, Regions and Local Churches to train congregational leaders in Justice LED.

What is a Regional Trainer?

A Trainer of Local Church Facilitators
Regional Trainers will work in teams of two whenever possible. Teams will lead training sessions for leaders of local UCC churches on the Justice LED program. These local church leaders will then be equipped to work within their own congregations in developing, strengthening and sustaining justice ministries. Coordinating these trainings with Conferences and Associations is expected.

An Advocate and Spokesperson

Regional Trainers will make presentations and offer informational workshops for ministers, religious educators, congregations, Associations and/or Conferences and other groups on the Justice LED Training Program. They will seek opportunities within denominational structures to promote the program.
