Beyond the Border
2012 Senior High Sneak Trip
“Sneak Trip” is the name for our Senior High mission trip/retreat that takes place over Presidents' Day weekend 2012. The theme this year is Beyond the Border because we will be learning and immersing ourselves in border issues with people who live on both sides of our U.S./Mexico border. It will be a transformational weekend in which we will see and experience new ways of thinking and being in the world; our activities will include talks with activists, community organizers, church leaders, and people working to bring about social change.
If we desire to grow as individuals and as a human family, there is a theologically-based need to cross borders. Borders will never disappear, but they do not have to divide or separate. Through our immersion experience, we will be invited to view the border, reflect theologically about border communities, and to recognize and respect the differences that make us who we are as individuals and societies.
All youth participants and adult advisors will need passports!

High School students from 9th Grade - 12th Grade

Phoenix, AZ to San Diego, CA and Tijuana, Mexico

Deadlines:
Early Registration: January 27: $155
Late Registration: January 28 - February 3: $175
Registration options:
You may reserve your spot and pay via credit card through the online registration, however, ALL FORMS (Registration, Health, and Covenant) still need to be completed and received by the SWC office by February 3rd. Select the "Register Now!" button below to register online.
Or you may print, complete and mail your check and ALL FORMS (Registration, Health, and Covenant) to the SWC office by Jan. 27 (for early registration price - $155 per person) or by Feb 3 (for late registration price - $175 per person).
