2012 Junior High Youth Event

The Junior High Youth Event is an excellent opportunity for Junior High youth to meet new friends, see camp friends and strengthen current friendships. This event will provide Junior High youth the freedom to explore their faith relationship in a new way through the reflection of social justice issues, music, dance and so much more! Music is an important part of our social life and it is just as important in our spiritual life. So, this year our theme will be “Plug into God.” We will explore some of our favorite music on the radio, reflect on praise music and listen to a live keynote band. What else will we be doing during the weekend? We will be cooking, baking, going to workshops, singing, dancing, laughing, playing games, eating lots of yummy foods and so much more! |

| Who can come? Middle School students from 6th Grade - 8th Grade When and Where? March 9-11, 2012 at Church of the Beatitudes in Phoenix, AZ. Arrival time at Church of the Beatitudes UCC Youth Center is 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9th. We will be starting the fun right at 7:30 p.m. so please be on time and have already eaten dinner as no dinner will be provided (although there will of course be snacks). The retreat will be wrapping up at noon on Sunday, March 11th at Beatitudes so please be there promptly to pick up your Junior Higher. Departure and Arrival location / Sleep Site: Church of the Beatitudes, Youth Center, 555 W. Glendale, Phoenix, AZ 85021 Deadlines: Early Registration: February 20: $50 Late Registration: February 20th - February 27: $70 Registration options: You may reserve your spot and pay via credit card through the online registration, however, ALL FORMS (Registration, Health, and Covenant) still need to be completed and received by the SWC office by March 1st.
